How Nyx fits a formation

Nyx is a Duelist built around rush-refresh melee duelist. Nyx needs enough survival to reach the first refresh loop; early Attack Speed matters only if she can stay on target.

EHP and EOFF are comparison composites; Sec / cast estimates a passive mana-fill interval. They help compare records but are not separate in-game stats.

C → B → A → S

Nyx ranks

Draft a duplicate of Nyx or use an eligible campfire event to rank up. Rank B chooses a fixed specialization; Rank A and S draft from the active class modifier pool.

Rank C

The base stat line starts with the active ability equipped.

Passive Ability

Ferality

For Rush ( 5 ), gain 5 (+ 25% Attack Speed ) Attack Speed and 5 (+ 25% Attack ) Attack for each time this ability has triggered this combat. Every 12 auto attacks, refresh all of Nyx's Rush abilities.

Rank B

The first rank-up also chooses one of three fixed specializations. A path can add a class and change later offers.

The Keen-Eyed

+ Assassin
Passive Ability

Assassins and Duelists instantly kill any enemies they damage below 20 (+5 per rank ) % Max HP . Backup.

The Wild

Active Ability

Perform a 5 -hit combo. Each hit counts as an auto attack that deals 100 (+ 33% Attack Speed , + 25% Magic , + 25% Attack ) % damage. If the enemy dies during the combo, Nyx jumps to the nearest enemy and re-casts this ability.

The Spark

Passive Ability

After Stall ( 10 ), each auto attack inflicts 1 (+ 1 per 50 Attack Speed ) Burn . After Stall ( 20 ), each auto attack inflicts 1 (+ 1 per 75 Attack Speed ) Frost . After Stall ( 30 ), each auto attack inflicts 1 (+ 1 per 100 Attack Speed ) Poison .

Possible class modifiers

Later ranks offer modifiers from the hero's active class pool. Multiclass heroes receive a split offer set, so both class groups should contain useful outcomes before committing.

How to build around Nyx

  1. Preserve the first job.Make sure Nyx can already perform the role described above before adding a second engine.
  2. Choose a repeatable trigger.Match the specialization to an effect the current team can activate every fight.
  3. Protect the delivery condition.Range, mana, survival, and target access usually matter before another damage multiplier.
  4. Read the later pool.Choose an added class only when its Rank A/S modifier outcomes support the same plan.

Nyx lore

“Yeah. I know I'm small. Get over it.”

Guild profile

Guild The Hunt - “When the call comes, we hunt.” Bringing the hood to the Rifts. Rushing and stalling, whatever you need.

Background

Nyx slipped past three rift lockdowns before The Hunt gave up chasing the kid and signed them instead. Now the youngest breaker on any roster: too quick to catch, too vicious to ignore. Nyx has no family on file, no address, no home. They don't trust The Hunt enough to sleep at their guild house. But every time there's a fight, the kid is always already there.

Motivation

Nyx doesn't follow guilds but people worth trusting - and hasn't found one yet. Be the first, and the kid stops being a stray.
